• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs for construction projects.
• Blueprint Analysis: Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to assess project scope and requirements.
• Bid Preparation: Compile and submit bid proposals, ensuring compliance with all project requirements and deadlines.
• Market Research: Conduct research to gather information on market prices for materials and labor, and maintain an updated database of costs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to clarify project details and gather necessary information for estimates.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and uncertainties in project costs and timelines, providing recommendations for mitigation.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project changes, and provide regular updates to management.
• Project Support: Assist in the evaluation of contractor bids and proposals, and participate in project meetings as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a construction estimator or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
• Proficient in estimation software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is a plus.
