The State of New Hampshire, Department of Environmental Services, Air Resources Division, Technical Services Bureau has a full time vacancy for a Transportation Program Specialist.
Summary:
Plans and coordinates, in association with internal personnel, other state agencies and stakeholders, the development of state programs and projects aimed at reducing emissions of criteria pollutants and greenhouse gas emissions derived from the transportation sector.Evaluates information, data, funding, policies and procedures from multiple state programs to inform planning efforts and assure compliance.
YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS: Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Education:

Experience:
Four years professional experience in the practice of air quality management, transportation planning, environmental regulation, or environmental consulting related to air resources management or motor vehicle emissions controls, with responsibilities in program research, planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
OR
Education:
Bachelors degree from a recognized college or university with major study in environmental, life, physical or earth sciences, business administration, or environmental engineering, or in a field related to air quality management or transportation planning.
