Help Desk Analyst I

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I in LONG ISLAND CITY, New York. This role is in the IT industry, where you will play a key role in assisting users with connectivity issues, maintaining active directory and exchange, and handling VoIP related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a high volume of calls from users and escalate them as necessary
• Assist end users with connectivity issues to ensure a smooth workflow
• Maintain the active directory and exchange, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate
• Manage VoIP related tasks, ensuring optimal communication within the team
• Install and configure network equipment as per the company's guidelines
• Configure mobile devices for the end users, ensuring they are set up correctly for optimal usage
• Monitor all user accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as Help Desk Analyst I
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Active Directory
• Demonstrated experience with VoIP technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Demonstrated customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality user support
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field is preferred
