Software Engineering Manager (711208)

1. Manage Amazon webservices infrastructure and budgets using Terraform.
2. Ensure software development follows continuous integration and deployment of best practices and standards.
3. Manage Cypress end-to-end testing for quality assurance.
4. Hire, direct, manage, and review the work of other engineers.
5. Evaluate system requirements, specifications, and provide recommendations to meet microservices design using Kubernetes and asynchronous architecture best practices using Pulsar and Kafka.
6. Implement site reliability and uptime with monitoring and alerting using tools including Datadog and Newrelic.
7. Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to launch new products, making iterations on existing features, and building a world-class user experience using

1. Minimize security risks by incorporating application security scanning into software development lifecycle.
2. Provide domain knowledge about analyst workflows and expectations in the Anti-Money Laundering and Fraud space while building complex tools for our customers.
3. Create project plans and timelines and communicate project status and progress to stakeholders.
4. Identify risks to anticipate potential project challenges.
5. Conduct performance reviews and give feedback.
6. Triage incidents and support on call engineers.

Requires five (5) years (post degree, progressive) experience in the job offered or related if with a Bachelor's Degree. Alternatively, requires three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related if with a Master's Degree. Experience must include:

1. Using Amazon Web Services cloud infrastructure
2. Defining infrastructure as code using Terraform
3. Using Javascript and React
4. Deploy microservice design using Kubernetes
5. Design asynchronous Architecture using Pulsar and Kafka
6. Performing continuous integration and deployment using GitHub Action
7. Conducting end-to-end testing using Cypress
8. Performing web application security scanning
9. Monitoring site reliability using Datadog and Newrelic
10. Providing incident management, support and bug fixes and managing production deployment

Requires a Bachelors (or foreign educ. equiv.) Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Alternatively, will accept a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
