Sales Representative, Galvalume steel coils

Our company is currently looking for an outside nationwide Sales Representative to join our Sales Team that will provide quality steel products to our Customers.

As an Outside Sales Representative you will manage current Customers as well as grow the territory pursuing sales leads within an assigned territory. To be successful, you must have steel related outside sales experience and a drive to be successful.

We offer a competitive salary & commission package.

Requirements
  • 2-3 years of Industrial sales experience is a must and a background in steel industry is a plus.
  • Two-year degree at a minimum is preferred.
  • Must be self-motivated, ambitious, organized, Team player with a persuasive and energetic personality.
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to speak clearly, confidently and professionally on the telephone and through written communications.
  • Strong ability to multi-task on a daily basis.
  • Strong solution selling skills & problem-solving abilities.
  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, account development and time management.
  • The ability to maintain & build relationships with current customers and to generate new accounts within your assigned territory.
  • Strong computer proficiency with an emphasis in MS Office.
