Production Associate-Assembly

Job Type: Full time, permanent

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Production Associate/Assembler to join our client’s team. In this role, you will work with small parts and perform a variety of simple to moderately complex operations to assemble products with precision and care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform short-cycle, repetitive hand assembly operations involving various product parts such as frames, preforms, bottoms, ground pins, lead frames, beads, pins, and eyelets.
• Use a variety of hand tools and equipment, including tweezers, magnets, mallets, vibrators, magazines, carbon molds, glass beads, and tape machines.
• Assemble parts while ensuring contamination is prevented using finger cots.
• Place completed molds in trays or on cardboard and apply tape as needed.
• Work from flowsheet folders, blueprints, process sheets, and written or verbal instructions.
• Operate lead-cutting machines to trim lead frames to specified sizes.
• Utilize magnifiers and related equipment to ensure precision and quality.
• Perform additional assembly tasks and move materials as required.
• Detect and report any faulty equipment, defective materials, or unusual conditions to the supervisor or group leader.
• Maintain established quality standards and adhere to quality procedures.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean, safe, and orderly.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
• Be flexible to perform other related duties as assigned.
• Work overtime when required, with notice, in line with company policy.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow detailed instructions, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable working with small parts and repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience with hand tools and assembly equipment preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What We Offer:

• Salary Minimum: $18.48hour
• Salary Maximum: $21.26/hour
