CTG is seeking to fill a Senior PeopleSoft Systems Analyst position for our client in New York, NY.
Location: New York, NY (hybrid remote)Duration: 12 months
Duties:The Senior PeopleSoft Systems Analyst will serve in the HR Payroll group and support the PeopleTools upgrade. The objective of this project is to upgrade the PeopleTools engine to version 8.60 (patch 11) from the current version 8.59 (patch 09). This upgrade is critical to maintaining Oracle support, leveraging new features, and aligning with strategic business goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting fit-gap analysis, system configuration, and executing upgrade scripts.
- Retrofitting existing code and conducting unit and regression testing.
- Ensuring all associated components within PeopleTools, such as integration web services, interfaces, and reports, are upgraded and tested.
- Addressing security vulnerabilities and ensuring system stability.
- Supporting and collaborating with city agencies in adopting the new features.
Skills:
- Extensive PeopleSoft 8.x/9.x (v. 9.2 preferred) techno-functional experience with HR and Benefits Administration.
- Strong experience documenting processes for HR and Benefits.
- Five (5) full-lifecycle PeopleSoft HR and/or Ben Admin implementation experiences.
- Expertise in PeopleCode, SQR, SQL, App Designer, SQL Developer.
- Working knowledge of app messaging (Integration Broker) is required.
- Extensive experience working on PeopleSoft interfaces with legacy and third-party systems.
- Excellent knowledge of the PeopleSoft HCM database model.
- Solid understanding of systems development lifecycle methodologies.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise-wide implementations.
- Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Experience:
- Proven experience in upgrading PeopleSoft PeopleTools versions.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM modules and associated integrations.
- Experience in security and performance tuning within PeopleSoft.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related Technical/Business Discipline is required.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
