Responsibilities:
- Providing technical and analytical support to ACC/A5I in the development and integration of requirements into existing and/or planned systems
- Assisting in planning documents and activities to include, but not limited to O&M, various acquisition activities, requirements development and developmental planning
- Providing technical and analytical assistance including evaluating operational capabilities and addressing operational needs
- Providing development, analysis, and process assistance in all Program Objective Memorandum and Amended Program Objective Memorandum activities
- Assisting in the development, validation, and coordination of varied requirements documents.
- Assisting in investment strategy planning
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets and databases
- Advising ACC/A5I on operational, logistics, and technical issues, transition strategy, project schedules, program plans, and other time-sensitive documents
- Providing DISA/DITCO information necessary to acquire satellite leases
- Making recommendations for satellite transmission plans between satellite vendor and RPA squadrons
- Providing key interface for Global Hawk Satellite Database (SDB) requirements with Air Force Space Command and Electronic Systems Center responsible for developing future satellite communications architectures (satellites and ground/air radio systems)
- Working directly with DISA and Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) to lease commercial Ku Band satellite services for GH overseas Operations
Qualifications:
- Must possess an Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Must possess bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 1 year of MAJCOM or higher staff experience
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in operations, staff or working specific program or subject area of the specific A5I mission area assigned for this task
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience developing requirements for commercial KU-band satellite leases
- Must have experience in supporting communications related bed-down activities for new Relay Sites; and stand down activities for an existing site
- Must have a knowledge of Federal Budget and Resource Allocation process and procedures in support of the specific A5I mission area assigned for this particular task
- Must have a knowledge of the process and procedures in which ACC programs and budgets are developed, staffed and approved by Air Force
- Current knowledge and understanding of ACC test and training mission/systems is a must!
- Must be familiar with CAM sustainment funding and processes
- Must be familiar in developing JCIDS and QRC documents and processes
