Travel Insured International, a Crum & Forster company, is hiring for an Intern in our Finance Department.

Travel Insured International is a leading travel insurance provider with more than 30 years in business. As a key component of our Specialty Business Unit, within the Accident & Health division, TII provides travel protection plans to help each individual travel confidently.

We are looking for a motivated and detailed oriented Finance Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and develop an understanding of the financial operations within our company. You will work closely with members of our finance team to support projects at TII in partnership with members of the business to achieve organizational goals.

Job Description:

What you will do:

  • Reconcile daily cash & checks received in office
  • Learn and develop skills for daily cash management
  • Compile daily credit card reconciliations to assure integrity of accounting data
  • Support production accounting acting as a back-up to team member
  • Support QA testing for Finance and Accounting
  • Provide accounting and analytical reports to support TII projects
  • Serve as backup to escheatment and chargeback processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college/university
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) with a basic to intermediate level of Microsoft Excel required

Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions.
The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum $29,250 to $39,000. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role.

To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
