Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Monday, Thursday, Friday (No weekends or holidays)

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will provide care to veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. Key responsibilities include:

• Applying the nursing process to assess patient needs and develop interdisciplinary treatment plans.
• Ensuring accurate documentation of clinical interventions and patient evaluations.
• Assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers in the operating room.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience in one or more of the following specialties: Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Robotic, or Endovascular Surgery.
• Education: ASN required, BSN preferred.
• Certifications:
• BLS (AHA)
• NIHSS
• NJ or Compact RN license
• Scrub and Circulating experience required
• CNOR preferred
• Documentation Skills: Experience with Epic preferred.
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 patient ratio.

• Must be reliable and available to work all days other than those pre-disclosed.
• Must not have alternative jobs that interfere with scheduling.
