Our client, a large distributor of building products, is actively looking for a General Manager to handle 3 of their distributions centers in New England.

The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years experience in a similar role as well as at least 5 years experience in the building products industry, millwork preferred.

• Drive financial performance
• Develop business plan, capital budget, key budget
• Ensure goals, objectives, operating processes and activities are aligned and consistent with company standards and objectives
• Lead and direct all functions to include safety, strategy, financial performance and people development and support across multiple locations.
• Develop sales strategies to maximize penetration of assigned marketing area.
• Manage operations to maximize productivity of labor, working capital, and facilities.
• Develop and execute plans around sales, margins, expenses, investments and all operational aspects.
• Ensure location operations comply with all federal, state, local laws, corporate and division policies and procedures.
