We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Scientist to join our team in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry in MASON, Ohio. In this role, you will be crucial in solving complex problems using data analytics, developing AI and predictive models, and working on multiple work-streams including data manipulation, automation, and analyzing large data sets.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing large data sets to find useful relationships and trends that impact overall profitability of the business.
  • Gathering and prioritizing opportunities to leverage AI and predictive modelling in collaboration with Product Management.
  • Developing business cases based on user requirements, focusing on revenue yield and cost savings from enhanced productivity.
  • Adhering to coding best practices, proper documentation, implementation guidelines, and process.
  • Communicating complex concepts and the results of the models and analyses to both technical and non-technical audience.
  • Working with large volumes of data; leveraging your background in Statistical Analytical domain.
  • Collaborating with engineering to help with new modules UAT and ensure functionality meets specs.
  • Utilizing SQL, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and programming languages like Python for data analysis and presentation.
  • Leveraging domain knowledge in Healthcare Provider Revenue Cycle for problem solving and product development.
  • Designing, developing, and analyzing findings of advanced AI/ML models to solve business problems related to Revenue Cycle operations for US based healthcare Systems.
  • Collaborating closely with software, data science, product management, and domain experts in a challenging and collaborative environment to translate business problems into data science solutions. • Must have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python is essential.
  • Experience in AI engineering is required.
  • Knowledge of Predictive Analytics is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Machine Language is preferred.
  • Proven experience in data mining techniques and creating high-performing algorithms.
  • Demonstrable ability to analyze large amounts of raw information to find patterns.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship.
