Overview:

The Software Engineer III is part of a dynamic pharmacy application development team and is responsible for designing and developing of software applications. Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.

This is a remote-based position within the Continental US.

Responsibilities:

  1. Designs and develops software applications.
  2. Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
  3. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
  4. Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes
  5. Act as lead software engineer to build innovative Pharmacy applications using Agile-Waterfall methodologies, oversee all aspects of full-stack development, and identify opportunities to enhance the application performance
  6. Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for the Pharmacy software engineering department and resolve escalated software issues
  7. Identify creative solutions and workflow optimizations to improve deployment timelines and reduce project roadblocks during development lifecycles
  8. Managed all aspects of both front-end and back-end development, including testing, analysis, deployment, quality assurance, and automation
  9. Adheres to security and quality standards when designing/developing solutions.
  10. Troubleshoots, debugs and resolves issues
  11. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  12. A certain degree of creativity and latitude required.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science Business Management, or similar discipline from an accredited college or university preferred

Experience:

  • 10 to 15 years of related experience of Windows applications development in Microsoft environment. Full-Stack development is highly preferred during these years of experiences.
  • 7+ years’ experience working with relational databases- SQL, Informix
  • 3+ years’ experience working with source control systems, such as Azure DevOps, TFS, SVN, GIT
  • Strong proficiency in .NET/C#, AngularJS or ReactJS, Javascript/TypeScript, JSON, REST API, API development, PowerShell, Windows Platform, Azure or any other cloud environments
  • Delphi Platform applications development and deployment and its migration to latest tech stack is highly recommended
  • Experience with Payment Systems, Pharmacy Management systems, Pharmacy Inventory management, and POS (Point Of Sale) applications builds and deployments are highly preferred but not a must
