Overview:

As a Server at ARLO, you will be the face of our exquisite dining experience, delivering impeccable service to our guests. You’ll anticipate guest needs, guide them through the menu, and ensure their meals are executed to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming and refined experience from start to finish.
  • Present menus, make knowledgeable recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverages, including wine pairings.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring any dietary restrictions or preferences are noted.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
  • Deliver food and beverages in a graceful and efficient manner, ensuring every detail of the guest’s order is correct.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to their requests, providing attentive service without being intrusive.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of the restaurant’s offerings, including seasonal dishes, specials, and signature cocktails.
  • Upsell food and beverage items, enhancing guest experience while meeting revenue goals.
  • Ensure tables are properly set and clean, adhering to fine dining service standards.
  • Assist with clearing and resetting tables between courses.
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, or concerns with professionalism and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with health and safety regulations and ensure all service protocols are followed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a fine dining server or in a similar upscale restaurant setting is desired.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage pairings, as well as the ability to provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain poise and professionalism in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering a luxury service experience.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays with multiple dishes.
