Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Timonium. This role primarily involves managing financial records and transactions, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries. As part of our team, you will be instrumental in ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled, and that all accounting functions comply with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions
• Prepare and enter journal entries in the general ledger
• Conduct regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
• Maintain and update accounting records by performing duties such as recording and posting transactions in ledgers and preparing financial statements
• Use Accounting Software Systems to track and analyze financial data
• Ensure compliance with state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Regularly review the company's financial status and transactions with the management
• Apply the principles of Full Cycle Payroll to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
• Utilize Paycom and other tools for efficient and accurate bookkeeping.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Functions is essential
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Familiarity with Full Cycle Payroll is essential
• Experience in making Journal Entries is required
• Must have experience in Reconciliations
• Proficiency in managing General Ledger is required
