Diatom Aviation is looking for a Delivery Driver. This individual will support the growth of our entrepreneurial business serving air carriers at Cincinnati's airport (CVG). Our drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Company trucks and open-bed trailers when delivering air-cargo containers (also called ULD’s or Unit Load Devices) to and from customer facilities at the DHL and other locations.
We expect this individual to be a disciplined efficient individual with a team player mentality.

The Role
The Driver is a full-time position responsible for the safe and efficient transport of assembled, and repaired air-cargo containers to our customers.The Driver will be a team player with high-energy, good organizational skills, and a strong desire to help the Company consistently perform with excellence.

Integrity, honesty, trustworthiness and self-discipline are essential character traits. Experience in logistics and/or supply operations, military service, equipment and vehicle maintenance, manufacturing, HVAC and/or assembly line production may prove relevant and valuable.
NOTE: The Company’s facilities, vehicles and operations are alcohol and drug-free and candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Candidates must have a safe driving record and must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card prior to employment, in order to qualify as a Driver; however, a CDL license is not required. Candidates must also have experience operating forklifts.
The Driver will report to the Assembly Lead and will be responsible to:- Instill a workplace culture that recognizes and rewards safety, quality, customer service, reliability and efficiency; and that respects and exceeds all customer expectations;
- Safely and lawfully operate Company equipment, including but not limited to vehicles, and forklifts;
- Represent the Company well and always interact with customers in a manner that reflects honesty, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude;
- Assemble all equipment in accordance with customer specifications and all applicable procedures, in full compliance with FAA regulations;
- Maintain disciplined adherence to 5S standards; and
- Identify, control, segregate, and maintain all materials according to the manufacturer requirements or standard industry practices;
- Ensure the preservation and storage of all materials, parts, and supplies in a condition enabling them to be installed or used on civil aviation articles; and
- Control and distribute inventory to be used in the maintenance functions of the repair station.

Pay: From $18.50 per hourExpected hours: 40 per week
