We are on the lookout for a meticulous and experienced CVP tester to join our team in New York. This role is centered around designing, developing, and recommending integrated security systems to ensure the protection of proprietary/confidential data and systems.
As a part of our team, you will be providing technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions to manage information-related risks. This opportunity is on a contract to hire basis.
CVP VERIFIED TESTER CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED!
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop integrated security systems to safeguard proprietary/confidential data
- Recommend physical control solutions to enhance security measures
- Participate with clients in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs
- Configure and validate secure systems and physical controls
- Test security products and systems to detect security weakness
- Establish and recommend changes to policies affecting subordinate organizations
- Work on complex problems where analysis of situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
- Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
- Interact with senior management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions and/or customers
- Provide technical direction, leadership, and training to less experienced staff
- Handle seldom and unusual occurring job events and complete complex and difficult assignments.

- Ability to design, review, and implement IT security policies and procedures
- Capable of providing training on security practices and methods
- Proficient in reporting and report writing
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee and troubleshoot security issues
- Knowledge of networks, Active Directory, and Python
- Familiarity with IT security systems and best practices
- Ability to serve as a liaison between different teams and departments
- Understanding of benefit functions and 'About Time' software
- Demonstrable experience with security systems and software.
