Software Engineer - (Archer GRC IRM Config/Dev Expert) - Remote

The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, System Architects, Load Test Teams, Application Owners, and Project Managers.Key Responsibilities:Design:Write design documents for programs, files, and systems in collaboration with clients and Business Analysts.Develop technical requirements documentation and assist others in preparing the same.Development:Oversee and verify development work performed by less experienced team members.Write complex programs in multiple languages.Identify better sources of data feeds and interfaces with architects to ensure feasibility with the corporate data warehouse.Testing:Define system tests and conduct testing to verify correctness for medium to large projects.Define load tests with the Load Test Team and Business Analysts.Oversee testing of lesser experienced team members.Deployment:Supervise a team to implement application software within the (link removed)vestigate whether the principles of application software are being implemented.Additional Responsibilities:Act as Subject Matter Expert for multiple applications or significant depth in an application for Business Analysts and System and Data Architects to define overall system design and detailed technical requirements.Create prototypes and explain them to Business and other Technology resources.Leverage domain knowledge to provide additional capabilities that can be delivered within scope.Coordinate the correction of defects found in all testing cycles and assist other team members in completing tasks.Ensure requirements are traceable from original design to final deliverable by providing valuable input promptly and providing a final the team completes unit testing cycles within expected defect tolerances and timeframes as established by ETS and the Project Manager, respectively.Document functions and changes to new or modified modules and test activities/results, as well as error handling and backup/recovery procedures.Oversee the creation of technical requirements.Create appropriate System documentation and communicate it to the appropriate parties in a clear and timely fashion.Coordinate with Application Owners to prepare modules for production by moving them to libraries, completing forms, following procedures, completing version control documents, (link removed)plete appropriate System Documentation clearly and effectively and communicate to multiple (link removed)municate when development tasks could be at risk and work with the Project Manager to mitigate the risks.Mentor others in assigned development tasks to stay within schedule and budget.Advocate and mentor others within their team and other teams on the components of the Project Management Lifecycle.Requirements:Experience in Archer GRC Integrated Risk Management configuration/development of on-premises softwareStrong understanding of design, development, testing, and deployment methodologiesExcellent communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with Agile project management methodologiesStrong understanding of software development life cyclesPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field5+ years of experience in software development or configuration/developmentExperience with IT risk management or compliance regulationsCertification in software development or IT risk management
