education: High School

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on facility systems and equipment.
• Conduct regular safety and maintenance inspections to identify wear, damage, and necessary repairs.
• Utilize technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair equipment.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures, including planning and scheduling repairs.
• Conduct periodic checks on equipment and systems to ensure compliance with operational standards.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification or coursework in building maintenance technology or a relevant field is a plus.

Required Skills:

• strong hazard awareness and knowledge of isolation practices (e.g., Lock-out Tag-out procedures).
• Understanding of PPE usage and requirements.
• Ability to log maintenance work using CMMS or paper records.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to maintain and keep track of personal tools (e.g., grease guns, cutters, grinders).
• Tape measure proficiency, including reading increments down to 1/16".
• Knowledge of lubrication processes and identification of fill points and grease zerks.
• Experience with repetitive disassembly and reassembly of mechanical components.
• Familiarity with the parts ordering process.
