The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing skilled nursing care to homecare patients.

Responsibilities:
Here’s how you’ll move healthcare forward in this role:
- Take part in a two-week clinical orientation to learn key procedures, the EMR system, compassionate care, and safety.
- Assess and evaluate the needs of patients with multiple disease processes and comorbidities and develop an appropriate plan of care.
- Provides education and strategies for patients and families.
- Partners with other VNA clinicians and external providers to execute best patient outcomes.
- Documents all changes in patient’s condition and updates care plans and outcomes.
Qualifications:
The ideal qualifications for the Homecare Registered Nurse include:
- RN with Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- 1+ year of supervised clinical experience as a registered nurse
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Car and valid driver’s license
Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoors and outdoors with clinical equipment and use of phone and computer; Job characteristics: Client and Customer contact
