We are offering a contract/CTH employment opportunity for a Senior Financial Automation Analyst in KANSAS CITY, Missouri. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions within our Corporate Accounting and Finance Department.

Your expertise in various automation tools will be crucial in driving efficiencies and enhancing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to enhance automation efforts
  • Implement and maintain automation solutions to streamline processes within the Corporate Accounting and Finance Department
  • Design and develop automation frameworks and solutions, using your knowledge of best practices
  • Leverage your skills in Project Management to support full lifecycle implementation on automation projects
  • Identify infrastructure efficiencies within the current automation framework to improve processes
  • Gather requirements on new and existing processes to prepare for automation
  • Lead day-to-day system maintenance and production support related to Automation efforts
  • Maintain effective relationships with end users and address their inquiries
  • Review and adhere to automation team best practices based on current approach
  • Demonstrate capability to quickly learn new technologies and apply to automation builds
  • Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks as needed
  • Provide post-production support for all automation deliverables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint is a must.
  • Experience in review and design of financial models and systems.
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record in handling financial projects.
  • A solid understanding of finance and credit principles.
  • Ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.
  • Experience in the implementation of financial systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of best practices in financial management.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work on time and meet project deliverables.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate financial concepts and information.
  • Experience with Power BI is desirable.
  • Knowledge of automation test, automation frameworks, and automation solutions is a plus.
  • Previous experience working with veterans will be advantageous.
  • A background in corporate accounting or public accounting is preferred.
  • Experience in production support and post-production support is necessary.
  • Proven experience in process automation within a financial setting.
