Equipment Maintenance Technician

• Manage production line equipment: respond to alarms, breakdowns, and requests efficiently
• Diagnose and resolve equipment failures, identifying root causes and actions taken
• Achieve Journeyman Level on assigned machines, handling preventative maintenance and repairs
• Improve PM documents and schedules with Maintenance Supervisor and Leads
• Perform major repairs and rebuilds, including occasional weekends and holidays
• Utilize manufacturing systems (MES, Spares Inventory, Issue Tracking)
• Collaborate with Process and Equipment Engineering to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime
• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Technology preferred, or 3+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLCs highly desired
• Experience with Fanuc or Kuka robots is a plus
• Specialization in electrical/electronics, mechanical/machining, or automation/PLC/robotics
• Skilled in troubleshooting automation, conveyance, and electromechanical systems
• Proficient with hand tools, portable tools, machining, and welding
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics

Physical Demands:

• Perform physically demanding work for up to 12 hours a day
• Stand, walk, and traverse uneven terrain for extended periods
• Lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs., including up and down stairs
• Frequently bend, lift, reach, and perform repetitive tasks
• Work in various positions such as stooping, kneeling, and crouching
• Climb and maintain balance on ladders or scaffolding
• Follow safety protocols, including wearing PPE and adhering to site safety standards
