Powerplant Engineering Intern
Overview:
This position is responsible for performing research and developing a databases and platforms for metrics related to Powerplant projects and various administrative duties as needed or assigned to support the airline’s Powerplant programs.
Responsibilities:
- Research to determine which stands have been repaired/serviced while at the engine shops and take compliance in TRAX.
- Provide a chart that shows all SB’s accomplished on Atlas engines and aiding in the SB compliance added into TRAX.
- Review all parts installed on our engines during shop visits to determine what we need to stock and buy in bulk in order to cut costs and minimize turn time.
- May perform duties such as gathering and organizing data to provide information for other departmental special projects or reports
- Coordination and follow through to completion on all assigned projects
- Perform all other tasks as assigned; specific activities vary by assignment
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in college/university/trade school required with studies or experience in supply chain
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, comfortable with delivering presentations to senior leadership
- Energetic personality
- Flexibility to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Proficient in data analysis
- Must be able to maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion
- Must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Hourly Range: $21.25 - $28.00
Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset.
