Center is looking for a Clinician to join their team of dedicated clinicians at an outpatient health center in Griswold, CT. The Clinician position will focus primarily on providing counseling and therapy to the Medicare population.
The Clinician will conduct interviews with patients|family members to evaluate coping abilities, dysfunctional adjustments, maladaptive behaviors, functional status. Establish objectives and develops patient-focused treatment plans to provide disposition and|or referral.Identify potential barriers, limitations & lack of coping abilities, adjustments, functional status. Evaluate patients for mental disorders. Provide individual, family, group therapy, crisis intervention and psycho-education.
