Commercial General Contractor, based in based in Worcester, is looking for a Lead Superintendent, to join their team!

Specializing in New Construction & Renovation projects up to $60M

First assignment will be leading a multi-family mill renovation project in Worcester MA

Their project portfolio includes Hospitality, Multifamily Residential, Municipal, Commercial & more throughout New England

Job Description

The Lead Superintendent is responsible for:

Finishing a $60M Multi-family project for the next six months
Ensuring job site operations are in compliance & completed on schedule, within budget, to quality standards
Maintaining an effective and open dialogue with the necessary internal and external individuals
Continuously promoting positive subcontractor relations
Overseeing budget management, cost control, and invoice reviews
Mentoring and coaching direct reports

The Successful Applicant

The right candidate will have:

Commercial Construction Superintendent experience with a GC (5+ years)
Experience building ground-up Commercial, Industrial and Multi-family projects valued at $50M+
Currently holds title of Superintendent who is ready to take the next step as Lead
Experience managing & developing other Superintendents
Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting commercial construction plans, drawings, and specifications
Good written and communication skills
Skilled at negotiation and conflict resolution
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
Familiarity with construction/project management
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
CPR/First Aid Certified
10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certification
30-Hour OSHA (preferred)
