Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the center.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirm upcoming visits.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality and accuracy of information.
  • Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries from patients.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a medical or optometry setting.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in using office equipment, including computers, phones, and fax machines.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent patient care.
