About Our Client
My Client is at the forefront of transforming communities and building sustainable, affordable housing across Michigan. I'm seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join their growing team and help lead the way in developing high-impact residential and mixed-use projects.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist in managing day-to-day project operations, ensuring quality control and that projects meet schedule and budget expectations.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, track progress, and create project documentation including RFPs, RFIs, and change orders.
- Contractor Oversight: Coordinate and manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution and problem-solving.

The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on residential or commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
