Staff Accountant

We are offering a temporary to permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in our Los Angeles, CA. As a Staff Accountant, you will be handling a variety of tasks, including processing customer invoices, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer account discrepancies.

• Handle customer billing activities and ensure their accuracy and timeliness.
• Take the initiative to collect payments for overdue accounts.
• Facilitate financial transactions in compliance with accounting principles.
• Play a significant role in accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
• Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Create reports and analyze financial data to aid management.
• Assist in closing procedures at the end of the month and year.
• Maintain records of all transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Contribute to other accounting tasks as required.
• Collaborate with various departments to guarantee up-to-date and correct information.
• Use Microsoft Excel and NetSuite for accounting tasks.
• Proven proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
• Demonstrable experience with NetSuite and Oracle financial software
• Familiarity with Billing procedures and Collections processes
• Mastery of Microsoft Excel and other related software
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal tax regulations
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred
• Minimum of two years of experience in an accounting role
