School-Based Nurse Practitioner - NJSCHRN

• Pay: Total stipend of $2,800 weekly / $12,100 monthly

Performance Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on medical care and evaluations for students, including health assessments and chronic condition management.
• Assist in implementing health programs that address the physical and mental well-being of students.
• Educate students and staff about health maintenance, illness prevention, and the management of long-term conditions.
• Respond promptly to student health emergencies, providing necessary interventions and referrals as needed.
• Monitor and report health trends, such as flu outbreaks or spikes in specific illnesses.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to local and national regulations.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to create a comprehensive support plan for students with health needs.
