Accounting Manager/Supervisor
We are on the lookout for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Portland, Oregon. In this role, your primary function will be to oversee and manage various accounting processes, ensuring the integrity of our financial reports. You will be involved in the analysis and optimization of cash flow, as well as the preparation of insightful financial analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Implementing and maintaining a system of controls over accounting transactions to mitigate risks.
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of monthly financial statements.
- Ensuring that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
- Daily monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing of cash inflow and outflow.
- Preparing timely and insightful financial analysis with emphasis on monthly financial statement variances vs. budget, forecast, and prior year.
- Monitoring key financial and operational metrics to determine progress against strategic plan, budget, and forecast.
- Maintaining a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
- Overseeing and managing accounting functions and month-end close activities.
- Overseeing and managing billing functions.
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
Bachelor degree in Accounting required
Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation or current pursuit of either certification a plus preferred
5 + plus years progressive accounting experience including prior Manager/Controller experience
Advanced knowledge of: MS Office Suite especially Excel
Deltek experience preferred
AEC experience preferred
