Position Summary:As an RN in the Medical Surgical Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. Job Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Medical Surgical Unit, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and patient education.
Foster effective communication with diverse healthcare team members, patients, and their families.
Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
Maintain and update patient records with accuracy.
Input and interpret computerized data|information.
Adhere to guidelines and policies established by the hospital nursing organization.
Collaborate with the leadership team on quality improvement projects as needed.
Job Requirements: Hold a current license to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Preferably possess 1+ years of RN experience in a hospital or sub-acute careCertification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required in specific units.
Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN, or BSN (preferred); Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.
Relevant clinical experience and|or specialty certification required for certain practice areas.Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
Physical ability to fulfill job responsibilities.
Basic computer proficiency.
Fluency in another language is advantageous.
