Sales Operations Associate

Overview:

The Sales Operations Associate will work closely with sales and operations leadership to support both operational and strategic needs. They will act not only as an advisor to leadership, but they are responsible for delivering solutions to the Operations organization while partnering on projects with the development and ongoing tracking of sales teams (inc.

inside sales) with analytics, reports, tools, and systems as well as monitoring KPIs daily. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with many roles across the organization from Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, HR, and Operations to ensure the Sales teams are operating both compliantly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support field requests related to account access and credentialing
  • Maintains and support field reporting (daily, weekly quarter as needed)
  • Proactively validates data loads with rigorous analytics to ensure accurately reported data.
  • Manages and maintains Sales Force Region and Territory Maps (at least bi-annual basis)
  • Leads data change requests process to insure timely and accurate credit to sales representatives on a quarterly basis.
  • Supports compliance related Sunshine Act activities
  • Supporting ongoing activities and field sales training specific to Veeva CRM and Power BI Dashboards
  • Support day-to-day field requests and Sales Operations leadership to analyzed trends related to vehicle reimbursement.
  • Maintain sales force hierarchy including sales team size and structure
  • Proactively identifies and assists in prioritizing opportunities to streamline business and system processes.
  • Supports and documents system changes needed as a result of defects, enhancements, incidents, missing requirements or other root causes.
  • Shares industry standards/trends with customers and peers within the area of responsibility.
  • Supports incident resolution and problem management/root cause analysis efforts by collaborating with colleagues to proactively resolve various data and operational issues.
  • Develops and assists in the presentation of business cases and system roadmaps.
  • Assists in monitoring and reporting on project budgets.
  • Manages day to day interactions with vendors. Work closely with vendors to complete required tasks.
  • Supports ad hoc reporting and analytical projects.
  • Supports the execution of key activities within the Sales Operations department including customer targeting, supporting territory alignments, and performing relevant assessments at the territory/regional level.
  • Manages the ongoing sales operations cycle in partnership with sales leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field required.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with business functions: Sales Operations, Field-based organizations, Marketing, Sales Operations, IT project management/business analysis
  • Experience managing Customer relationships at various organizational levels
  • Preferred experience in Sales Analytics, Sales Force Automation, SQL, and Project Management.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel

Working Conditions
  • Position may require periodic evening and weekend work, as necessary to fulfill obligations. May require travel, including some overnight commitments.
  • This is a hybrid role based in Xeris’ Chicago office and requires a minimum of three days per week in the office. On-site requirement may change at management’s discretion.
