Responsibilities & Requirements:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides wound-related and other basic nursing care to the center’s patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The LPN provides care in accordance with all the Wound Center and hospital policies and procedures, care and safety protocols, and Clinical Services Practice Guidelines.
The LPN is accountable for his/her own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law. The delivery of nursing care within the Kettering Health Network reflects the missions, vision, values and philosophies, of the organization and nursing departments.The Licensed Practical Nurse reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
Minimum EducationGraduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN)
Evidence of completion of an OBN course in medication administration
Wound care experience preferred
Required Licenses[Ohio, United States] Registered Nurse

Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Practical Nurse
