Traveling Superintendent - Retail Construction

Our client is one of the leading general contractors in the retail construction industry and have been for over 25 years. With headquarters in the Atlanta Metro area, they are central to the Southeast and have created a strong client base throughout the region.
Job Description
This superintendent will lead the assigned project including project site and field crew. Main Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and directing the site from start to finish
- Directs and supervises work of project administration staff and construction engineers, as well as works in partnership with project superintendents to establish operational priorities
- Responsible for forecasting, tracking/reporting project costs/revenue and adherence to project estimates
- Responsible for problem resolution involving labor disputes, staffing, construction materials, construction equipment and contracts/subcontracts administration
- Coordinates with construction Safety Manager to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with established safety goals
- Develop strong relationships with Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Assistant Project Managers
- Maintain appropriate documentation through project such as RFI logs and change orders

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for this role must have experience as a commercial superintendent with the ability to travel to and from projects within the Southeastern Region. They must posses the following credentials:
- Experience with the construction of ground up retail projects, either small or big box from start to finish
- Atleast 4 years of experience as a superintendent work for a general contractor
- Strong software and technology skills preferred
- Successful history of leading teams
