Fluenta were established in 1985 and are a privately owned (Norwegian) Flare Gas Meter Manufacturer serving the global energy industries. With over 2,000 installations across 6 continents Fluenta has become a global leader in sensing technology to measure, monitor and manage flare gas flow for emissions monitoring to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and minimize environmental impact in some of the most challenging environments in the world.
Due to continued growth and investment the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer has arisen within Fluenta to lead the commercial function and drive commercial excellence through strategic planning, end-customer and distributor development, project delivery and sales.
As a key member of the executive team, you will execute and contribute to the corporate strategic plan with a focus on increasing opportunities within existing customers, expansion into new customer segments and local area distributors whilst driving product development and strengthening commercial sales operations and proposition throughout global markets utilising local Fluenta sales offices in the UK, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai and Houston
Job Description- Report to the CEO, overseeing commercial strategy and revenue generation process for Fluenta's flare gas measurement systems and solutions.
- Define the commercial path to profitable growth of the company and the establishment of an effective growth process and infrastructure.
- Leadership of the pre-sales and sales functions both in the UK head office and regional sales offices.
- Develop and implement the Company's sales and business development initiatives, seeking new and motivating existing distributor partnerships and end customer sales growth across key industry segments and routes to market.
- Oversee pricing strategies, ensuring optimal pricing for systems and solution offerings to maximise revenue and maintain competitiveness in the market.
- Control of the achievement of KPIs and drive sales forecasting activities through fully utilising CRM tools including Salesforce tools to maximise efficiency.
- Collaborate with various departments to align commercial objectives with overall business goals.
- Commercial leadership experience, driving and implementing revenue growth.
- Experience in high value low volume sales in a B2B sales environment.
- Excellent leadership capabilities, with a proven record of recruiting, mentoring and developing successful international commercial teams.
- Ability to develop, manage and implement strategy and plans globally.
- Nimble to work in a tight globally dispersed team within a flat organisational structure.
- A background of international travel and working in multi-cultural environments will be essential.
- Located within commuting distance of UK office in Cambridge.
