Robert Half has partnered with a successful client within the manufacturing industry on their search for a Facilities Manager. As the Facilities Manager, you will manage all policies and projects within the facility ensuring property workflow, organizational flow, and timely completion.
In this role, you will also review project cost, retain design records, manage facility-related services, oversee inspections and risk assessments, handle infrastructure repairs and equipment, manage relationships with external service providers, and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA.

The ideal candidate for this role should have strong communication skills, proven knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
What you get to do daily- Collaborate with various departments to ensure rapid identification and resolution of facilities-related issues.
- Oversee the design and construction of various projects, ensuring they adhere to all relevant codes, regulations, and contractual requirements.
- Conduct thorough inspections of all areas of the organization's grounds and facilities, approving renovations, maintenance, and installations as necessary.
- Manage a recordkeeping system that tracks facility use, maintenance schedules, and other information mandated by internal policy or local, state, and federal agencies.
- Assist in the formulation of the annual facilities management budget and prepare special budgets for upcoming building and remodeling projects.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of keys and other access mechanisms for all buildings and mechanical rooms.
- Participate in discussions with other staff and stakeholders to review and update the organization's physical master plan.
The ideal Facilities Manager will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
Other requirements for the Facilities Manager role include and are not limited to:
- 4+ years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years in a management position
- Understanding of building codes and standards
