Accounts Receivable

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in FULTON, New York. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in the manufacturing industry. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will focus on maintaining customer credit records, processing customer credit applications, and resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct calls to account holders to create payment plans and ensure timely repayments
• Review open customer accounts to identify those that require collection actions
• Create and send invoices to customers, and process their payments
• Maintain a high level of proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Epicore, and other relevant software for Accounts Receivable practices
• Execute account reconciliation and cash collection tasks with accuracy
• Handle other administrative duties as assigned to support the smooth running of the accounts department
• Maintain an organized system for customer records and ensure all information is accurate and up to date
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Work independently and diligently, demonstrating a strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Experience in Billing and Cash Applications
• Ability to perform Cash Collections and Commercial Collections
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Familiarity with Epicore software for business operations
• Possess a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration
• Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a high-volume environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial data processing standards.
