We have an Excellent opportunity with a Great client here in the White Plains area looking to hire a Credit Manager for their team. The Credit Manager will apply principles of credit review/analysis, and collection methods to evaluate customer credit worthiness, A/R portfolio analysis, and effect credit implementation & collections.

Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed ratio, and other analysis on a variety of

financial statements with the use of Excel.

Evaluate, support credit, and implement decisions based on review.

Obtain and evaluate credit references.

Obtain and evaluate D&B reports.

Communicate clearly with Senior Management

Visit selected customers to obtain additional credit information, support sales, and

advise/implement credit strategy (Estimate - 10% domestic travel.)

Effect collections through verbal, and written communications with customers, lawyers, and other representatives.

Manage shared collection staff.

Prepare detailed, clear, and frequent management reports.

qualifications: Excellent financial statement analytical skills,

Working knowledge of bankruptcy rules, particularly in areas of preference, reclamation, critical vendor status.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Must be able to work well under pressure and be proactive when problem solving, including supporting, communicating, and implementing difficult credit decisions.

Experience with JDE/Oracle is a plus.

7+ years in Trade Credit Management- Plus!
