We are seeking a Sales Associate 1 to join our team in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will be primarily focusing on providing excellent customer service, engaging in sales support, and reporting on sales activities within our retail stores. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity, with a focus on fitness technology and retail industry.
Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional service and solutions to all current and future customers.
- Stay informed about new products, features, and content relevant to our industry.
- Assist customers in finding the right product fit for their needs, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding established performance goals.
- Participate in all store activities including inventory management, merchandising, marketing, and other assigned duties.
- Engage in cross-departmental initiatives that may include community events and member support.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of our product portfolio and use this knowledge to educate visitors.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Show flexibility in your schedule, including the ability to work during weekends and holidays based on business needs.
- Adhere to physical requirements of the role, which may involve long periods of standing and walking in the store, as well as bending and lifting items weighing 25 lbs or more. • Proven record in Sales and Customer Service
- Proficient in Reporting and Marketing strategies
- Familiarity with 'About Time' software
- Experience in Workstation Support
- Strong skills in Merchandising and Retail
- Capable of Closing sales effectively
- Understanding of Disability Benefits
- Excellent Written Communication skills
- Ability to work with Third Party entities
- Capability to perform Lifting tasks as required
- Willingness to work Overtime when necessary
- Experience in organizing Community Events
- Ability to meet Performance Goals
- Experience working in Retail Stores
- Proficient in providing Sales Support
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform job functions with reasonable accommodation, including standing and moving around the store, lifting heavy items, etc.
- Experience in a similar role with a Proven Sales Record is preferred
