Human Resources (HR) Manager

We are in search of a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our dynamic team in the Museum/Art Gallery/Botanical/Zoo industry located in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will oversee various HR functions such as employee relations, recruitment, and training development.

This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the recruitment process and hiring procedures in order to attract top talent.
  • Developing and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Managing employee relations and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Overseeing job classification, compensation, and benefits administration.
  • Implementing and maintaining performance appraisal systems.
  • Utilizing HR tools such as ADP
  • Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS
  • Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, and HCM.
  • Executing benefit functions effectively and ensuring staff understand their benefits.
  • Developing strong communication lines within the organization at all levels.
  • Establishing working relationships with supervisory and managerial personnel to achieve HR goals. • Minimum of 5 years experience in a Human Resources role
  • Proven experience handling ADP - Financial Services
  • Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now
  • Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
  • Experience with Ceridian software
  • Familiarity with HCM (Human Capital Management)
  • Ability to manage Benefit Functions within an organization
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong understanding of Compliance within a Human Resources context
  • Proven track record in maintaining positive Employee Relations
  • Experience with Hiring Processes, including recruitment, interviews, and onboarding
