Exclusive English Teacher for South Korean School - Los Angeles
Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic ESL Teacher to join our team in Songpa, Seoul, starting in early February 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to elementary-level students in a friendly and engaging environment.
As a teacher, you will be expected to design and deliver effective lesson plans that cater to the language learning needs of young learners. You will work from Monday to Friday, with teaching hours from 2:30 PM to 9:00 PM, ensuring a well-balanced schedule for both teachers and students.
Responsibilities:
Teach English: Deliver lessons to elementary-level students, focusing on speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills.Create Lesson Plans: Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to the needs of young learners.
Student Assessments: Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
Prepare Materials: Create or prepare materials and resources to enhance student learning.
Engage with Parents: Occasionally communicate with parents regarding students' progress and behavior.
Participate in School Activities: Join staff meetings, events, and other activities as required by the school.
Requirements:
Native English Speaker (Preferred).Bachelor's Degree (Any field, though education or English-related fields are preferred).
TEFL/TESOL Certification (Preferred but not required).
Experience: Previous experience teaching children or in an ESL setting is a plus.Passionate About Teaching: Strong interest in teaching young learners and adapting to their needs.
Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with students and staff.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: 2.7 Million KRW per month, with the potential for raises based on performance.Vacation: 11 Working Days off, in addition to national holidays.
Housing: A one-room furnished apartment will be provided, or you can opt for a housing allowance.
Airfare: Round-trip airfare provided to and from South Korea.
Severance Pay: You will receive severance pay at the end of your contract, equivalent to one month's salary.
Health Insurance: Full health insurance coverage.
National Pension: Contributions to South Koreas national pension system.
