Overview:
Position Description SummaryThe Plumbing Inspector will be supporting of Capital Improvement Aviation Programs.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Duties
Mechanical/Plumbing/Fire Sprinkler Inspector:
- Proficient in inspection of rough and finish HVAC, plumbing installation including pumps, piping, ducts, equipment, controls, vaults and associated works both in building construction and underground piping.
- Knowledge and experience with inspection of fire sprinkler systems also required for this position.
- Experience with review and approval of monthly progress payment & as-built drawings from contractor required.
- Possible overtime during week and weekends may also be required.
- Ability to write clear and effective reports and is capable of working with Microsoft Office and other computer software and applications including Prolog & VEO.
Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education Level:
- High school diploma (or equivalent).
Professional Licenses & Certification:
- Current ICC Certification as a Commercial Plumbing Inspector; possess a thorough 30-hour Cal OSHA training prior to assignment.
- The 30-hour training will have been received within the last 4 years.
Minimum Years and Experience:
- 3 years or more of experience performing plumbing inspections.

Wage Data Per State Requirements:
Pay range for this position is $65.90/hr - $80.50/hr. The starting pay will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
