OBJECTIVE:
Senior Medical Claims Representative Objective
To provide efficient investigation, evaluation and negotiation of Michigan No-Fault claims.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Senior Medical Claims Representative Responsibilities
Initiate timely and equitably responses to and control the disposition of all assigned Michigan No-Fault claims in such a way to significantly affect the overall profit picture of the company while providing quality service to the insured and aid in the retention of business.
Work with computer systems keying functions, including but not limited to letter composition, log entry, dairy entry, report of investigation composition and draft productions.
Maintain enhanced knowledge and ability to apply policy of Michigan No-Fault acts as written.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Senior Medical Claims Representative Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in business administration required.
Minimum five years medical claims handling experience required.
Must possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
Designations in AIC, AINS and/or other insurance-related designation required.
Note: If a candidate is not identified, a Medical Claims Representative may be considered based on level of experience. This position has the availability of remote work from personal residence within the state of Michigan, however, there is a current expectation to work one day per week in the Farm Bureau Home Office located in Lansing, Michigan.
