For more information, please visit our website at www.Connect55.com.STARTING AT $20-$25/hr BASED ON EXPERIENCE!IN ADDITION, MONTHLY COMMISSION!Day Shift Monday to Friday On Call Our Maintenance Technicians perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that tools/equipment/machines continue to run smoothly, operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate, including:- Paint and repair ceilings, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall and other structures- Apartment turns, day to day care of interior building.- Repair/replace/reassemble defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools- Maintain an exceptional knowledge of the operation and maintenance of all hand and power tools.
Ask questions to clearly understand proper use and care of equipment.- Maintain work site, equipment/supply rooms in a neat and organized manner, free of any debris. Ensure tools and materials are appropriately cleaned and stored after use.- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.- Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers, or obtain them from storerooms.- Daily meeting with Property Manager for work orders, urgency, satisfaction, care and concern for residents.- Maintain accurate mechanical and other building equipment records and inspection reports.- Log all work performed on a daily basis including the sites, description of service provided, length of service, and the percentage of completion- Be a leader in setting a standard of excellence in maintenance, quality and customer service.- Inspect grounds and common areas of properties based on Calamar's quality standards.- Be proactive in addressing all problems identified through inspections.- Attend and participate in all safety meetings and apply information learned on thejob.
Apply and adhere to all Calamar and OSHA safety standards at all times.Report safety hazards to Facility Manager immediately. Take action to correct hazards.- Notify the Leasing Manager of all problems reported by tenants or improper tenant activities or rule violations.- Listen with empathy to tenants issues and concerns.- All other tasks and responsibilities as requested.- Prior experience in building, apartment complex or senior living is a plus.
