LiFi (Light Fidelity) is a new emerging state of the art optical wireless communication technology and one of the new growth engines for Signify. Signify Trulifiprovides fast two-way communication thats reliable, secure and has a low latency.It offers multigigabit connections that can guarantee transmission of heavy data loads. Using light to communicate, it's ideal in places where RF is not permitted or doesnt work.
What you'll do
Participate in the entire product development process from concept to product release in the market.
MechanicalCADdesign,mechanical simulations,testing, and documentationof new products, parts, and assemblies of LiFi products.
Design for assembly, serviceability and manufacturability.
Collaborate with cross functional project teams (system architect, electronics engineer, optical engineer, thermal engineer, design team and validation team) located in Burlington, MA, and the Netherlands to ensure requirements are met regarding cost, performance, safety and compliance.
Update and maintain development reports and generate innovative ideas.
What youll need
Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical engineering, or related (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
Work experience in mechanical design and product development; experience with opto-mechanics is a plus
Familiar with mechanical design software including parametric modeling (Siemens NX preferred)
Knowledge of material properties, industrial metal and plastic tooling
Successful working in an innovative and emergent technology domain and meeting required timelines- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.

Salary: $87,200 - 127,930
Bonus: target bonus opportunity - 5%
