Join one of Amazon's innovative teams where you'll shape the future of video commerce. As an Executive Assistant to the VP of Amazon Shopping Videos (ASV), you'll be at the heart of a dynamic business unit known for its exceptional growth and strategic importance.
At ASV, you'll be more than an Executive Assistant - you'll be a strategic partner helping drive business success through effective team coordination, thoughtful planning, and relationship building. You'll lead a small team of EAs while collaborating with global stakeholders across Amazon Advertising, IMDb and Grand Challenge (AIGC) organizations.
The Executive Assistant will report directly to the VP, and will collaborate with various business partners in associated departments, as well as other Executive Assistants across the multiple global stakeholder teams within the Amazon Advertising, IMDb and Grand Challenge (AIGC) Line of business team.The right candidate will have a strong bias for action and the ability to operate proactively and strategically, anticipating needs based on a thorough understanding of leader and team priorities. Looking around corners, impeccable attention to detail, strong judgement, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple requests across global teams are all critical to success.
A high level of integrity and discretion handling confidential information and professionalism dealing with senior executives inside and outside the company is important. The ability to foster a positive team environment is a must, as is flexibility and a willingness to turn on a dime and take effective action as priorities shift.
Key job responsibilities- Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars
- Management of complex calendars, scheduling requirements, and prioritization of executive's tasks and appointments according to their importance, urgency, and relevance.
- Act as a liaison for direct reports and business stakeholders
- International and domestic travel coordination
- Participate in planning of events and drive key team activities (staff meetings, all-hands meetings, supply ordering)
- Work alongside other executive assistants within the org and throughout AIGC to drive best practices and cross collaboration of efficiencies
- Tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables across programmatic mechanisms

A day may include organizing leadership meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, mentoring team members, and contributing to special projects. Balancing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications- 7+ years of senior level leadership support experience
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
- Highly motivated, organized individual who is able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with a variety of groups including internal and external peers, partners, and senior leadership
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to improve processes to maximize efficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Amazon is a total compensation company.
