Mechanical Technician/ Vehicle Technician

What You'll Do:

• Build and Test Assemblies: Assemble and test ADAS sub-assemblies both on and off vehicles, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Electrical Harness and Cable Work: Fabricate, modify, and repair electrical harnesses and cables for seamless system integration and testing.
• Fabrication and Modification: Work with materials like sheet metal and 80/20 frames to create reliable, high-performance systems.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing and validation to guarantee safety and functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
• Collaboration and Communication: Partner with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals and innovate solutions.
• Documentation and Improvement: Maintain detailed records of your work, including test results and modifications. Contribute to continuous improvement in processes and documentation.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and industry standards to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

• Experience: 2+ years as a technician in a manufacturing, R&D, or automotive environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in assembling and testing electromechanical components, electrical harness fabrication, soldering, and cable termination. Experience with sheet metal work and frame assembly (e.g., 80/20).
• Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Education: An associate degree or technical certification in electronics, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing technology is preferred.

Bonus Points For:

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux systems for basic troubleshooting and software usage.
• Knowledge of ADAS components and systems.
