Job Description
  • Drive the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Lead employee relations tasks
  • Implement a wide range of policies, including attendance and employee investigations procedures
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
  • Nurture a positive working environment, anticipating and resolving HR-related issues as they arise
  • Assess training needs and monitor training programs
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout HR management
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Business Partner should have:

  • Proven working experience in HR business partner role
  • Prior employee relations experience
  • Bilingualism in English and Spanish
  • People-oriented and results-driven
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of New Jersey labor law and HR best practices
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
