Staff Accountant - Robert Half

This role is pivotal in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to our overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries and work papers to ensure timely and accurate monthly financial statements.
• Conduct account reconciliations and address any discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing necessary information and assistance.
• Develop and sustain strong working relationships with members of the financial and accounting communities.
• Assist in the documentation and testing for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Propose changes to existing procedures to enhance efficiency within the accounting department.
• Perform other accounting duties as required and assigned.
• Utilize your skills in General Ledger and Account Reconciliation to maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. • Proficiency in General Ledger management
• Experience in Account Reconciliation
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred
• Strong knowledge in accounting principles and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze financial data
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with accounting software is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
