The candidate for this role must be competent with manual therapy, massage therapy, and/or lymphedema management. As well, the candidate must work well on an interdisciplinary team and have an entrepreneurial spirit. The position can be full-time or part-time and workday hours are flexible.
Our Wellness Center has a multidisciplinary team that collaborates to provide our patients with a complete approach to healthcare, teaming up to ensure that we can address our patients health and wellness concerns. Our model has a team of Medical, Wellness and Lifestyle experts in one location- with medical doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, as well as stress management counseling.
We have a tradition of offering welcoming services and comfort, and our team is compassionate, caring, engaging, and takes every opportunity to wow patients at each visit.
Duties:
Perform initial exams/consultations and re-exams (medical history, focused physical exam, review pertinent imaging/documents/reports)
Evaluate findings, develop and prepare appropriate treatment plans
Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment plan options, pre and post treatment care, lifestyle modifications, and benefits of continued care
Treatment- rehab and various manual therapies and modalities
Documentation and Charting (timely and accurate notes)
Work cooperatively with the multidisciplinary team and other support staff for comprehensive patient care

Requirements: Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Active Occupational Therapy license in NYSpecial interest in lymphedema management, massage and manual therapy
Schedule: Part time or full time (depending on services/treatments rendered and preferred hours)
Salary (range): $70-$90/hr with unlimited potential income based on the success of seeing patients
